Investments in life insurance or term insurance can be recovered by filling the respective claim with the insurance company. The investments insurance are blocked when the insurance is lost or forgotten or in case of deceased the legal heirs or the nominee was not not mentioned by the deceased when investment in insurance was done.

To claim the matured insurance, the investor or the legal heir must possess the insurance policy or the alloted no of the insurance policy and the company through which the insurance was bought.
